Google's Pixel 11 series is official: Tensor G6, 120x Pro Zoom, and a price hike
Google officially launched the Pixel 11 series at its Made by Google event, confirming the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. All three ship on the new Tensor G6 chipset, built on TSMC's N2 (2nm) process — Google's first Tensor generation manufactured on TSMC's leading-edge node rather than Samsung's.

- Cameras (Pro models): 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, 48MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and up to 120x "Pro Zoom," plus a 42MP front camera (f/2.2, 103° field of view)
- Memory/storage: 12GB or 16GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB non-expandable storage — a bump from last generation's 128GB base tier
- Charging: Qi2.2 wireless charging support
- Price: Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299 — both up from the prior generation's starting prices
The 256GB base storage and Qi2.2 support are the two changes worth actually caring about if you're upgrading — the storage bump removes the annoying 128GB tier that filled up fast with on-device AI models, and Qi2.2 finally brings Pixel's wireless charging spec in line with what iPhones have supported for a while.
What's not confirmed yet
Google's event also referenced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold as part of the lineup, but full specs for the folding model weren't detailed to the same depth as the Pro and Pro XL at launch — worth waiting on official Google spec pages rather than early hands-on coverage if the fold is the one you're actually waiting for.
